It’s 2009! And to kick off this exciting new year, check out GUA’s brand new look. What a better way to start the new year than to show off a slicker, cooler and striking new GUA!
During its initial days, GUA had so much content to offer that its eagerness to put up as much entertainment and lifestyle news and information for the benefit of its readers contributed to the clutter the site used to display. Nevertheless, this did not deter new users to register as a GUA member, proving that GUA still had a strong and growing following throughout this period of time. Today, GUA the most popular entertainment and lifestyle portal in Malaysia chalks close to 400,000 members and records an average of 1.5 million hits per week!
Obviously, GUA did not use these figures as an excuse to remain complacent. As more and more entertainment-based portals pop up every other month, a revamped GUA will definitely up the ante and give these newcomers a run for their money!
As of January 9, GUA sports a cleaner and neater layout whilst maintaining its edgy and funky overall appearance. The clutter has now been replaced with better segmented and organized contents, with easier navigation keys and new drop down menus. Although compacted, the quality and quantity of GUA’s editorial and video contents were not compromised.
Those who are familiar with the site will notice that GUA still retains its pages namely Love & Relationship, GUAMUZIK, Video and Community besides its Entertainment and Lifestyle pages. Although Video is now known as GUA TV, it will still continue to deliver quality short-formatted video contents and online dramas for its users this year. Responding to users’ feedbacks and comments, GUA TV now boasts a larger video player for a better viewing experience.
GUA continues to keep information-hungry Malaysians abreast with the latest scoop in local and international entertainment scene, food, travel, fashion, health and beauty, love and relationship, music and video downloads. Programmes on GUA TV can also be viewed on GUA MOBILE from their 3G-enabled mobile devices at affordable rates. GUAMUZIK serves as a platform for music fans to download their favourite tunes online.
